Smt. Padma Jakka

Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement (PSSM) is a significant part of the worldwide New Age Spiritual Revolution.  In this process, PSSM churned out many spiritual Masters in varying capacities and capabilities under the guidance of our esteemed spiritual guru, Brahmarshi Pitamah Patriji.

One such realized Master is Smt. Padma Jakka, one of the early members of the PSS movement from 1997 onwards, and the backbone of the Pyramid spiritual society in Vijayawada. She is married to Sri Raghava Rao Jakka, who is also a stalwart in the PSS movement and one of the founding members of the International Pyramid Spiritual center in Bengaluru.

Smt. Padma was a devout religious person in her early life practicing ritualistically in aspiration of spiritual enlightenment. However, that practice did not raise her spiritual awareness until she met Brahmarshi Pitamah Patriji, who bestowed a simplified seekers path to spiritual enlightenment through the practice of ‘Anapanasati’, technique of meditation and the principle of ‘Appo Deepo Bhava’, i.e. Be a light unto Yourself. That guidance turned her hours of daily ritualistic practices into a unidirectional meditation practice that bloomed her consciousness. Along with daily practice, she engaged in daily ‘Satsang’ seeking & sharing spiritual knowledge with all aligned minds around her, thus raising her spiritual awareness. An aware & conscious soul can only exist in a blissful enlightened state, like ‘Prakriti’, an unjudging witness to everything while being in the midst of everything. Anyone, irrespective of their age/gender/caste/creed/nationality/language, who spends time in her presence, always comes out with the same experience of an unconditionally loving affectionate Mother, who nourishes their body & soul through delicious food and nature’s harmony of Oneness with everyone. Even Patriji himself is a beneficiary of this experience, as he always reaches out to talk to her every few days irrespective of whichever part of the world he may be in anytime. Her habit of first feeding every guest who arrived at her door before teaching meditation, earned her the nickname of ‘Annapurneswari’, the Lord Parvathi’s avatar as the goddess of food.

In the last 23 years of her spiritual life, she has engaged in various activities under the auspices of Patriji and the support of her husband. A few highlights are mentioned here.

  1. Managed a spiritual wellness center at home in Vijayawada for the last 23 years
  2. Initiated thousands of people into Meditation and Counselled thousands more through their physical & physiological troubles
  3. Empowered thousands of house-hold women with applied spirituality into their everyday familial & social lives, especially with her essence of Oneness & peaceful witnessing
  4. Penned numerous articles for ‘Dhyana Jagat’ and other magazines
  5. Stood as a backbone for her husband, who conducted both the Vijayawada (2002) and Srisailam (2009) annual Dhyana Maha Yagnas
  6. Published Dhyana Vignana Jyothi, as a souvenir book celebrating 6 years of spiritual work from the Vijayawada center and released at the 2002 Dhyana Maha Yagna
  7. Sowed the initial seeds of PSSM Meditation in Kerala in 2012 with the help of Seema, a bilingual Keralite
  8. Conducted several Dhyana Vidwat Mahila programs throughout 2019 culminating into the annual 2019 Mahila Dhyana Maha Yagna
  9. Authored a book in 2012 titled ‘Padma Patra Mevaambhasa’, a lotus leaf untouched by the dew drops on it, though in a pond
  10. Authored another book in 2022 title “Sri Lalitha Sahasranama Advaitamrutam”, a pragmatic advait approach to the famed ‘One thousand Slokas’

Her book is titled by Patriji, describing her essence of life, also nudged her to write the same, and quantify her life through her spiritual experiences, which could be a significant eye-opener for its readers/seekers. In the last 23 years, she toiled every day from dawn to midnight to fulfill her family duties and her spiritual duties. She is a solid rock to lean on for her entire extended family on both her & her husband’s sides. Likewise, she is also a solid rock for the spiritual success of her & her husband and all the activity that spread through the Vijayawada Pyramid Spiritual center, at the Pyramid House in Machavaram, Vijayawada.

Many a Masters of all regions & sects from all over the world passed through that center and either admired or perplexed by a householder’s spiritual progress.  And many more who were blinded by wealth/gender/caste/religion/sect/ relations etc. treats her as a simple house-wife. And yet she remains an unjudging witness to it all, in her essence of ‘Prakriti’.

For her enduring spiritual wisdom, she was conferred the title of ‘Dhyana Vidwanmani’ in 2003 and felicitated during that years’ annual Dhyana Maha Yagna. Further, in recognition of her enlightened conscious state, she was fondly conferred as the first ‘Brahma Vidwarishta’ and felicitated for the same in the 2019 Mahila Dhyana Maha Yagna.
